Pokhara Itinerary — 3 Days

A relaxed three-day Pokhara plan with Phewa Lake, viewpoints, local neighborhoods and optional outdoor activities.

Three days in Pokhara gives you enough time to enjoy the city without using it only as a transit point for trekking. The exact order should stay flexible because mountain visibility changes with weather.

Use the first day for Phewa Lake and Lakeside, then explore beyond the main tourist strip for local food and quieter streets. A boat ride or an easy lakeside walk works well after a long transfer.

On the second day, choose a viewpoint such as Sarangkot or the World Peace Pagoda area when conditions are clear. Pair it with a lower-intensity afternoon rather than filling the entire day with transport.

Use the third day for an activity that fits your interests: a short hike, museum visit, cycling, paragliding with a reputable operator, or simply a slower day around the lake.

If Pokhara is followed by a trek, treat the city as a preparation base. Check weather, permits, transport to the trailhead and any guide requirements before leaving.
