This high-altitude pilgrimage site is sacred to both Hindus and Buddhists and is a major stop in lower Mustang.
Upper Mustang
North of Kagbeni, the restricted area leads through arid valleys and historic villages toward Lo Manthang.
Annapurna connection
Mustang also intersects the western side of the Annapurna Circuit, linking trekking and road-based itineraries.
