Reaches 3,210m at Poon Hill — no significant altitude risk, but the climb is steep in places.

Moderate fitness — short days but many stone steps.

Annapurna Conservation Area (ACAP) entry + TIMS requirements; the current NTB list explicitly includes the combined Poon Hill–ABC route, so confirm requirements for your exact short Poon Hill itinerary

The famous stone steps (Ulleri) are taxing on knees — trekking poles help. The pre-dawn walk to Poon Hill is on a clear trail with many others. No significant altitude risk at 3,210m.

Poon Hill is the most affordable classic trek in Nepal — short, road-accessible from Pokhara, with plentiful teahouses. Main costs are permits, transport, food and lodging. Treat figures as guidance only.
